Sakura Square currently resides on a full city block in Downtown Denver, on 19th, between Lawrence and Larimer. The current block houses the Tri-State/Denver Buddhist Temple, Tamai Tower, a 20-story residential tower, commercial retail and office spaces, a public plaza, and a parking structure.
Sakura’s mission is to create a cultural hub in Downtown Denver, providing a community and gathering place with businesses, residents, and cultural organizations that honor and celebrate the history of the Japanese American culture.
TWP has assisted Sakura in the initial stages of due diligence, along with long term planning resolutions for the redevelopment of Sakura Square.
